Ray Charles is an American treasure. He didn't invent Soul Music but he refined it and made it sound like he did. I believe this is from a out of print record called "Ray Charles Live In Concert" ABC/Paramount 500 Released January, 1965
Recorded during a concert at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on September 20, 1964, According to what I found Ray Charles had no idea that this concert was being recorded. Ray’s manager, Joe Adams, solely came up with this idea and didn’t even tell the executives at ABC-Paramount Records. The end result was so successful that the record label purchased a brand new Cadillac for Mr. Adams.
