David Grisman Quintet, 7-22-94

David Grisman has alway been one to take his art form to new places. Starting off in bluegrass he then made a departure from bluegrass in the mid 1970s whith The David Grisman Quartet. With time he has expanded to a mix of forms that include jazz to a music style he calls Dawg Music. At first Dawg Music was all string instruments with out percussion but with time he has added percussion and even wind instruments. This show is a great example of where Dawg Music has evolved to over the years.

  2. Thanks AZ. Love Dave and the guys, and this is a wonderful example of their work. You continue to amaze. Enjoy your day, and take a minute to remember those of us who fought in the forgotten war called Vietnam over 40 years ago. All the best, Iggymo
